2.  I ran 6.5 miles 1 week ago, and stopped only once.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I want to win a 1/2 marathon

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to finish in the top 3 for a marathon

Personal:

I'm 45, and smoked for 30 years.  I quit July 14, of 2008 ( my 4th try with Chantex).  I wake up everyday astonished that I can call myself a non smoker.  Evey time I run, I'm more astonished that I can do it for more than 2 minutes with out stopping!

I am married and have 2 daughters, Maria(23), and Antonia (20).  Great kids, fun, smart, and responsible.  Oh, and my husbands a great guy too!

Trial run for my first race.  I was so nervous for the trial run, I can't imagine how I'm going to do for the real race.  I finished 6.2 miles in 1:1:56.  Not bad.  My goal was under a minute, so I'll see if I can notch it up a bit.  But I was pushing it to get that.  Anyway we'll see.  If anyone reads this, let me know if you think I should run this week before the race.  Today is Sunday, the race is Thursday (thanksgiving).

 Thanks!
